Why did he agree to this? It’s something so confusing, so convoluted that Epel couldn’t even really understand what Rook was SAYING when he first brought it up. All he heard were the words ‘nature’ and ‘duty’ as well as something briefly about Vil not being able to accompany Rook because of one of his newest… whatever he was doing. Some photoshoot for some product Epel could care less about.
So that’s how he ends up being convinced. It doesn’t take much - Epel DOES care a lot about nature and its preservation, and while Rook was extremely vague, he can’t say it wasn’t an appealing idea.
As they step through the mirror, they soon find themselves amidst a small area of trees.
“This the place?”
He asks, eyes focusing in on the area around them rather than Rook himself. Airy, open ish aside from all the trees… feels… like home. Looks like home- or close enough to it—

He kinda just stares over at Rook, blinking as if that would help him understand what the meaning truly was.
