Even though it's just an acknowledgement, Cater feels a lightness in his chest at Rayne's brush against him. He's all smiles, feeling giddy as he places an order in at the counter. Paying for the coffees, he finds the tucked away corner that Rayne selected and joins him. "It'll just be a few minutes."

He's just passing the time explaining how he first found the place when a server brings them their cups. The hot coffees are adorned with precious pieces of art in the foam topping: a bunny for Rayne and a cat for Cater.

"I saw the doodles you added in my notebook," he admits. "With yours and mine together, they reminded me of this."
