Malleus is not used to feeling utterly ashamed of anything, but that's what swallows him now, because he knows this is- It's strange. Lilia is far too important for him to sully with feelings like this. It's a fluke; it's an accident. He expects Lilia to be disgusted, or to perhaps, mercifully, let him off the hook and never speak of it again, to understand that this was not Malleus' intention at all.

Instead, he pulls Malleus forward. They are even closer than before, and it isn't helping matters in the slightest, because if they were just a little bit closer, he would know what Lilia's lips feel like.

Malleus has never kissed anyone before. Why would he? Ah... but at the very least, Lilia is not ridiculing him. That embarrassment, perhaps there is a way to save this after all.
